ABOUT GREEN POWER INSIDE

Green Power Inside is a whitelist for businesses and consumers to direct their purchasing dollars, advertising dollars, and distribution opportunities to companies that demonstrate exceptional efforts in being environmentally responsible through their choice of Internet hosting and other service providers.

The goal is to showcase people and companies who make ethical choices and make every effort available, in the online world, to make zero environmental impact.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to convert 1 million websites to green power (out of more than 40 million new websites created this year.) That's onlyl about 2.5% of all new websites created this year.

  • 2,000 passenger cars taken off the road
  • 1,070,000 gallons of gasoline not burned
  • 21,900 barrels of oil not burned
  • 1,200 households not using electricity for a year
  • 240,000 tree seedlings grown for 10 years
  • 7,900 acres of pine forests storing carbon for one year
  • 77 acres of forest preserved from deforestation
  • 48 railcars of coal not burned
  • 3,200 tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled
